OT: 2020 Football Thread: We Still Suck

Ny has a nice ring to it yet, imo, the internet and growth of the NFL makes many QB’s household names. Mahomes from KC, Rodgers in Green Bay, Brees in New Orleans, etc.

As far as appeal though, i think it’s a no brainer NY is a better appeal than Jacksonville. Heck, anything has to be better than Jacksonville.

JG is a huge cap savings yet i don’t see a Darnold trade b/c the contract is attached and the 49ers would have to flex that 5th year option which is costly.
 
After watching bits and pieces of both Fields and Lawrence yesterday, the gulf between the two from my eyeballs is enormous. Jets need to get Lawrence simple as that.

I got an idea to insure it. How bout the Jets last game of the year vs Pats after they've lost to the Rams and Browns start James Morgan and see what he's got. You drafted him in the 4th round...you obviously think he has potential. Well let's give it a whirl....hmmmm

Yeah, some Jets fans are trying to convince themselves that Fields is just as good, when the truth is that it would be devastating to miss out on Lawrence. If we don’t get the number one pick I’d rather trade down and reinforce the rest of the team than take a consolation QB like Fields or Wilson.

Yah...I'm with ya. Let's hope it doesn't come to that tho.

As expected the Jags are getting blown out. We need to keep pace later on today.

Not feeling as confident that the Jags could beat the Bears as Trubisky seems to have gotten a 2nd life and the Bears actually look good. We need to lose out simple as that cause it's pretty obvious the Jags aren't winning another game!
