I think you should write an even longer and more dramatic post in response to me having a chuckle at how bad the last 5 minutes of the game were lol

No need to have a meltdown

I didn't realize that was a reaction to 5 minutes of play. People are freaking out about the Giants because they didn't win by 30. Same people that said only wins and losses count and it doesn't matter how close our losses were.

Giants being spoon-fed a playoff spot by virtue of winning the worst division in NFL history and keeping Gettleman is destined to happen.
If the Giants make the playoffs it will have been earned. Their remaining schedule is by no means easy. But chances will be reduced if Jones does miss more than next week which was going to be a tough game anyways.

What the NFL did to the Broncos is virtue signaling at the absolute worst. Nobody was actually sick, but the team got punished because the QBs weren't wearing submission muzzles (which do nothing anyway, because if they did, 20 Ravens wouldn't be "positive").

They did exactly what they said they would do in this situation as seen in this memo from October - note 4. If they PPD game then the Saints would have been equally in their rights to complain about it as they got ready for the game and then the league didn't follow through with what they said would happen.

you're only missing how much players make compared to you and this is grievance bingo

The issue isn't the game being played as much as it is about the idiotic mask nonsense.

The third string QB tested positive. Ok.

So the other QBs would have been magically okay to play if they had masks on?

They're either exposed or they aren't. They're either positive or they aren't. The mask isn't some sort of super shield.

No but it does drastically reduce the chances of transmissions. That you dont want to believe that isn't relevant.

That's actually not true, but I really don't want to get into politics.

All I can say is I'm about ready to put a gun to my head over all of it. I'm done choking on my own CO2. Just blanking done with it. I'm better off sucking down a bullet so I never have to deal with this shit ever again.

Where have you been for the past 11 months? Theres an incubation period where you can transmit the disease asymomptimatically or even before you popped positive for the virus. That is why you need multiple negative tests over a period of days.

When you got exposed and when you take the most accurate test takes time.

But hey submission muzzles right?

Or maybe the NFLPA agreed to certain conditions so they can get paid this year.

Want to work in construction? Wear your safety vest and hard hat. Don't? Find a different job. Right now a mask is your hard hat, it wont kill you to wear it. Dont like it? Stay home.

It has nothing to do with politics. It's silly to even entertain that masks were somehow made up in 2020 by Americans as a punishment on their own culture, and it shows an amazing ignorance of history, science, and knowledge of any country outside the US.

Other cultures have been using masks as a way to protect against SARS, MARS, and other diseases for decades. It's not a magic solution. It's a risk mitigation strategy. It was a rule in the COVID plan for the NFL because they're trying to actually play the season. The other choice was to not. Which of course you would have been up in arms about as well.

There was always going to be stuff like this when they decided to play. The other choice is to shut down the league.

Words cannot express how much I hate Gase’s play calling

Gase has to think everyone is stupid to think he isn't calling plays on his own. He's on the headset, Loggins is not. Gase has the play sheet, Loggins was shown standing there doing nothing while the plays are being run. After the game, he gets asked and becomes extra defensive:

Dude is just a f***ing piece of garbage. He calls the shots, he calls 3rd downs, he calls the 2 minute drill, he can "override" the calls if he wants to. These are his plays and he's trying to deflect the ineptitude of the offense off of himself alone.

If any of these players have balls, they'll sit out the last game like the Dolphins players did. The players with a little bit of standing need to sit out. Would be tough for a rookie to do it. Maye, Fant (if healthy), Darnold, Williams, and Crowder should lead the charge on this. Protest that he needs to go. It worked for the Dolphins, it can work for the Jets.
