if you can force that change maybe you can force a uniform change.
Silver or metallic helmets to match the color of the stadium and, oh by the way, match the color of actual Jets. Make the whole stadium a Top Gun theme rather than this Leon Hess, get mean green, with a fireman mascot reminding the fans how to spell.

I went to an event hosted by the Jets where they unveiled the new uniforms. Met a lot of the Jets brass (including Chris Johnson) and players (Chrebet, Brick, tony Richardson). Was a lot of fun and after a few rounds of 25yo Macallan's the new uniforms looked great!
Tempted to go to the Dolphins game this weekend. My house in Florida is just under a 3 hour drive from Hard Rock Stadium.

In all honesty I've only been to Met Life twice and one was for a Bruce concert. So no, not exactly sure what the heck it is you were referring too.

lol...we'll just need to disagree. I'm not against change and yes I'm admittedly a bit old school when it comes to uniforms of any team in any sport. But I happened to like the look of the old classic Jet uniforms. It reminded me when they once upon a time were a good and competent football team from '98 thru 2010.
I dunno maybe I'll get used to them...I doubt it but I'm open to it.

In all seriousness, as far as fandom is concerned, it's doubtful there is any worse combination of being a Met,Jet,Knick and Ranger fan. If there is I'd like to know. Yes the Rangers have been pretty dang successful at least as far as being playoff participants but only one title to show for it in my lifetime.
Now that you got me thinking about it, I've only actually been to two parades...the '86 Mets and '94 Ranger parades and they were glorious...trust me. But other than that....squatole. Yes the Knicks won two titles in '69 and '72 but I was just starting to understand hoops back than as I was only 9-10 years old. But we'll count them two titles.
In baseball, we got two titles as well for the Mets. The Jets I was too young to recall the actually SB game but we can count that as one title in my lifetime. And of course the Rangers '94 Cup win.
So in my lifetime as a fan of these 4 god forsaken franchises, we got 6 titles TOTAL in 50 years for all 4 of these teams. That my friend is beyond pitiful...ugggg. Thank for making me think about this shit so early in the morning. My day was going just fine till this shit....lol

If you think about it, the fact that the Rangers despite being owned by IMO, the worst owner in professional sports Jim Dolan, have somehow escaped not being a shit show like the Knicks and in fact are one of the more successful teams of the past 20 years in the NHL, is one of the biggest anomalies of the new century.
Now it likely has something to do with the fact Dolan doesn't know shit about hockey, but unlike how he constantly interferes with how the Knicks do things and makes things go to shit, he stays the F away, thank the good lord when it comes to the Rangers. And the Rangers have solid and consistent leadership despite Dolan owning the team unlike the Knicks which has been a revolving door of GM's and coaches.
We can say all we want about Sather but at least Dolan left him alone to screw up and didn't double down and add to it like he did with the Knicks...lol
