It is must lose even if we make the playoffs we have no chance making it out of the first round. The draft pick position is what matters to me..

Kings won't fall far enough to be in that top 5. Playoff experience would be great for the young guys even if they lose.

If we play like we did last night we should have a good shot , the issue is as always the leadership of this team HAS to show up and to not only lead but to inspire , the kids play hard most times but the “leaders “ need to be our best players .
losing after playing hard and having everything you can be left on the ice there is what it is it’s heartbreaking but not showing up should make management decide if buyouts are an option now that Carter is gone or a promotion up into actual management instead of on the ice for a couple of these guys we know who we are talking about, with a chance to compete in meaningful games against equal or lesser opponents should and will determine what goes on for next year and the year after I think

we make the playoffs we pick around 16 -18 th at best. We continue to lose we can finish 6-8 I would want the 10 ish spots rather then a 4-0 blow out in the playoffs
