Ah I see, so basically the so called bandwagon is there committing all those fallacies while tucson from your bandwagon is just using hyperbole and presenting rhetorical points
Defending tucson posts might literally be the worst hill to die on, in all of history.

This is the the most concentrated form of contrarianism that's ever existed.

I don't buy it at all. It's very convenient to criticize a coach and then when he has success retroactively explain it away as he "changed." I guarantee that if you talked to these coaches they would laugh at the suggestion that they undertook some kind of substantial magical change.

What, I should ignore when a coach adjusts their methods?

I guarantee they wouldn't, and would probably be pleased that someone noticed their work at improvement.

Tortorella is an interesting coach because he tweaks how his team plays depending on his roster, annually. When the skill level is higher he happily opens things up, but God f***ing help anyone watching if the talent level in a year isn't there because he locks it all down into a grinding slog.

But I guess these obvious changes don't actually exist lol

The irony in your post -- criticizing posters for not always following the board's popular opinion -- surely is lost.

I pointed out inclination of that group to often join up in contrarianism just for the sake of doing it, hardly criticized. And as presented on the previous page, "irony" is hardly exclusive to me on the past few pages.

Boy, want to talk about a logical fallacy. Assuming people who disagree with the majority are doing it just for the sake of being "contrarian" is a great one.

Boy, you could be on to something if it were an occasional occurence and not a regular one, going on for years.

Literally just three examples of many, but easily enough to prove that someone is just being a contrarian. Nobody else could possibly believe all three of these things and argue them so often.

-Hak is a good and smart coach
-Hagg is good and Ghost is bad
-Stewart is good and NAK is bad

Do you think this board is the center of the Flyers’ fan universe? I call it as I see it. Sometimes it’s unpopular on this board full of young Corsi worshippers, sometimes I agree with the majority. The “you disagree only for the sake of being contrarian” argument is lazy & fallacious. I could just as lazily contend, “you only agree for the sake of herd membership.”
