Fant-Lewis-McGovern-Van Roten-Becton. That's how I see it, for one season.

I thought they might take Perine when they took Zuniga.

Morgan is interesting with Fromm still up there.

Is the reason we have more Jets fans here because this board is on the younger side and Giants fans tend to skew older? I've never seen Giants fans outnumbered like this.
I think it's just coincidence. Much less posting activity since the NHL season was shut down. There are some big Giants fans like Jon who barely post right now. In "normal" times it's probably 60-40 Giants, and fluctuates depending on which team is worse is a given year. LOL. Same thing happens in the baseball thread.

Clark wasn't even on some boards. Seems like an overdraft.

EDIT: I guess some people had him 4-5 and have said some really nice things about him. So, we'll see. Also, some outlets project him as a G.

Not a fan of any of the three picks they made, oh well.
ESPN had Clark way down their board. I've seen other places that had him solidly in the fourth. And the actual scouting reports on him seem to be pretty positive, even the ESPN one. Actually reading up on him, I'm intrigued. Seems like he might be overlooked a bit as a small-school prospect.

Perine, I was kind of "meh". If they wanted a RB I feel like there were other, better options. But, Perine looks like at least a rotational option. With Bell probably gone next year I guess it's good to get a head start on developing a RB.

Morgan, I get the need for a QB, just not really sure why they picked him when they did.

4.62 40 for Perine, yuck, would have just waited until much later for a running back. Morgan’s number just being okay instead of good at a small school is worrying. I wrote last page they should take a QB, just seems way too early, and probably not a guy I would have touched.

I should have said I was okay with the lineman, give him a year to develop, and hopefully he can go inside.

I really thought they would target some corners in round 4, and they didn’t.

3 picks left, lets see what they can get. Would like to see another WR picked at some point too.

Not crazy about the Perine pick.

Not crazy about the Morgan pick either but I read an article awhile ago that said they were interested. If he was their top QB available then I can live with it. Douglass is from Philly who always emphasizes backup QB.

No problem at all adding extra OL depth. Maybe the kid can be a starter in a year or two.

Jets draft so far:

YES!
AWESOME!
um, ok
huh?
what the?
this sucks

Yeah getting Bryce Hall there makes me not really care about the QB, since my main issue was that I would have taken someone like Bryce Hall instead of Morgan. They ended up with the QB they liked and the CB I wanted, so it all works out in my eyes.

I'm excited about Clark after initially panning the pick based primarily on ESPN's rank of him overall. Lots of places had him pegged right where he went and describe him as a legitimate prospect to be a plus-level guard in a couple seasons.

Not loving this 3rd day for the Giants. I don't know why we didn't go with one of the two WRs on the board? Went with some project out of Penn State probably because we have his college coach on our roster and he was pounding the table for him.

Hoping Jets grab Jauan Jennings in the 6th, probably a practice squad first year, but has some talent.

Hunter Bryant James Proche and Markus Bailey for other dart throws

Blankenship if they want a kicker

Not surprised they went for a punter, I guess Edwards is likely gone. The kid they took has a strong leg. We've had some good kickers, but it feels like a while since we had a genuinely and consistently good kicker.

I think that's a fine trade the Jets made there. You get a CB who, while not great, is still probably better than anyone you find that late in the draft, and more ready to step in.

Overall I give it an A-/B+. I wish they would have found a different RB than Perine and just taken Fromm instead of a small school guy who was never that good to begin with. Otherwise, I'm on board with everything they did.
