Something I've been doing the past few off seasons
Must be under 24 and have not played over 40 NHL games. I'm basing it off a 5 year projection.
Tell me the changes you would make and why

Line 1:
LW: Maxime Comtois C: Trevor Zegras RW: Troy Terry
Line 2:
LW: Isac Lundestrom C: Sam Steel RW: Brayden Tracey
Line 3:
LW: Max Jones C: Antoine Morand RW: Blake McLaughlin
Line 4:
LW: Jack Kopacka C: Jack Badini RW: Benoit-Olivier Groulx

Def pairing 1:
LD: Brenden Guhle RD: Josh Mahura
Def pairing 2:
LD: Henry Thrun RD: Jackson LaCombe
Def pairing 3:
LD: Simon Benoit RD: William Francis

Goalies:
1: Lukas Dostal
2: Olle Eriksson Ek

The Ducks have a lot of scoring talent, especially top heavy, but would struggle defensively. Other than their first pairing, their defense is a liability and has only lefties. Lukas Dostal has proven himself to be one of the better goalie prospects in hockey while they have a solid back up in Eriksson Ek.

At first look I would say Hunter Drew needs to be on the blueline - probably over Francis. Maybe switch Morand and Groulx also and somehow move Lundestrom in the middle although it’s tough to keep guys in their natural positions in this exercise.

Other than that it looks all good off the top of my head.

Comtois - Zegras - Tracy
Jones -Steel -Terry
Kossila - Lundestrom - Morand
Kopacka - Groulx - Sherwood

Guhle - Mahura
Thrun - LaCombe
Benoit - Drew

Dostal

Kossila signed with Toronto and Sherwood has played more than 40 games.

I was debating putting Drew in there but I'm always hesitant to rank Q defensemen highly until I've seen them in the pros. Unless your an absolute stud, I'm always lower on them then the majority of people.
