Agreed, he’s getting into the right areas and seems to be getting plenty of chances. He seems to be struggling with his shooting around the slot, in particular lifting the puck. It’s weird, I figured his shot would have been one of easier bits of his game to turn around giving he always looked such a natural finisher, with his wrist/snap shot.

If he can find his shot, his value soars ... I think he’s otherwise looked solid for a few weeks now.

That's so sad. Mental health is so important. Hopefully he gets the treatment he needs for himself and for the well being of his family.

He also said he decided to pull the trigger on the Carter trade after having some beers with Sutter in his garage. Lol.

Was cool hearing DL talking about it, about how Carter's agent is old school and will tell a guy what time it is, and how he was a little spoiled by Philly and was pouting in Columbus but that you kind of needed to see how good you had it in Philly vs. how bad you had it on a rebuilding team to put things in perspective, DL was banking on that.

Cory has two more years after this one at $6m, but he might be able to go on LTIR if he can't come back from hip issues. makes sense that he is off to Europe or Russia as I believe that is the only time a player in the AHL needs waivers
