Thank you Elon!
We have been talking so much about the future, I think it would be pretty funny to see what many of us think this team will look like next year....prior to the deadline and free agency..
Sign whatever FA's you like, trade away whoever you like, it is what you think will happen.
I want to see how far off "our" vision is with what management actually does.
I am leaving out our draft pick this year-too many variables there.
For me, I will go with the following:
2019-20 Chicago Blackhawks
Brandon Saad - Jonathan Toews - Phillip Kurashev
Artemi Panarin - Artem Anisimov - Patrick Kane
Andre Burakovsky - Dylan Strome - Alex DeBrincat
John Hayden - Evan Barratt - David Kampf
Brendan Perlini/Matthew Highmore
Duncan Keith - Henri Jokiharju
Erik Gustafsson - Ian Mitchell
Carl Dahlstrom - Connor Murphy
Blake Hillman - Brent Seabrook
Corey Crawford
Collin Delia
TRADES:
WSH/CHI - At the 2018-19 deadline
Marcus Kruger
Dominik Kahun
Gus Forsling
for
Andre Burakovsky
2019 3rd rounder
FA:
Artemi Panarin - 7 years @ $10mil per
I am keeping Anisimov on this team because I believe that the Hawks feel they have a shot at Panarin, and keeping AA here helps that out...you can move AA if you don't get Panarin to start the season, but my gut tells me AA is staying put right now in hopes of luring Panarin here.
I am keeping Crow here as I think he isn't done and will come back but now have to split time with Delia...
I really really like this group with a number of kids starting in the AHL next year like Boqvist, Krys and Galvas...if this is the team we start the year with, I firmly believe they are a playoff team...not a major contender, but a playoff team...and this is without Jack Hughes being included lol!!!!
