If Sweden wins today it is a historic win. Never before has Sweden beat Canadas best of the best in a tournament final.

I would rank it over 1994 olympic final for sure. Would rank it over all WHC golds also.

well it is usually like that when the tournament is in North America most of the times.

hey, we cheered like hell for sweden and went wild with a packed crowd when you won gold against russia the last time you won gold, that was pretty nice of us considering it is highly unlikely you would have done the same for Canada in the same position in a tournament held in sweden, hell there probably would have been only a few hundred people in the stands let alone cheer for us with wild enthusiasm.

But if you expect us to be nice to you guys when you are playing us in a gold medal game I don't know what to tell ya.

You can cling to it or you can be a good hockey fan, it's your choice, try to choose honour if you can.

Canada have had biased refs feeding them powerplays and turning the blind eye as long as I have watched hockey - against all nations.

It has gotten alot better, but it's still there. Just tae a look at the series against Soviet/Russia a few decades ago - that reffing was nothing but a farce.

It's not nearly that bad today and it's not like Canada really needs that advantage anyway. Most dominant hockey nation in the history.
