Usa came out hard the first 5-6 minutes, then Sweden took over the game and controlled it pretty easily with more highdanger chances.
Of course Usa went full attack when was behind in the third, Sweden got some unwarranted penaltys and Usa pot 2 with goalie out.

Controlled the game? I thought both teams looked pretty bad for most of it. Sweden capitalized on a few mistakes and that was pretty much it.
 
With the US destroying the Czechs......great respect for Canada's performance against the Czechs is diminishing. If I was given a 100K and was forced to put it on either team..... I honestly wouldn't know what to do :huh:

Gonna be a great game between two worthy finalists!

It’s been a balanced tournament. No real powerhouse. I think Canada USA and Sweden could all beat each other on any given night.

Also, respect to Slovakia for really beating team USA. That wasn’t a fluke. They outplayed us and really deserve the win.

Not sure why Canada beating the Czechs the way they did had so much influence on your opinion. It's been pretty clear throughout the tournament that Canada and Team USA are very close, one isn't significantly better than the other. If that wasn't clear after the outdoor game then it should be clear now after they both beat the Czech's in the same fashion.

You could say it's unfortunate that Team USA had to face the tougher team in the Semi's, but Canada earned that privilege by having their one prelim loss in a SO and not regulation. In a 2 week tournament sometimes small things like that can make a huge difference in the end. Sweden may still prove to be the best team in the tournament, we'll have to wait a few hours to find out.

I actually like it this way. Makes it much k The exciting. Obviously we all want our respective countries to win but we’re all hockey lovers and have prospects with our NHL clubs spread throughout the tourney. I will admit my heart breaks a bit for a team like the Danes this year. That’s tough to watch.
 
In this thread- Canadians and Finns backing Canada, Americans and Swedes backing Sweden, and Russians still are too busy defending their hero Radim Shippolovski against the evil tyrant George McPhee to care about anything else.

USA was clearly better the first 10 minutes and the last 7-8.

Aside from that, Sweden did control the game, without dominating.
 
This Finn has been backing Team Sweden since the Finns got ousted by ruthless chance.# Talking about generalisations and their rhetoric power. Good or bad - go Swedes and claim the trophy. It is your time to have the stars aligned in your favour again in the grande finale.

If I absolutely had to bet I would have to go with Sweden. I will only be surprised if it is a blow out.
 
TSN showing a massive sea of red and white clamoring to get into the arena.

Sweden gonna have to beat the team and the crowd.

Canadian hockey....................the brand.
