If both teams were 100% healthy, I'd pick Sweden in a close one.

Since they're not, it's basically a coin toss, and largely depends on the health of Lias Andersson for me (Sweden's only capable centre).

I see us winning this. Similar gameplay to Slovakia-Sweden. Brutalize the boards, vicious forechecks, make them go up the middle of the ice. That opens things up for poke checks, turnovers, odd man situations. We have plenty more athletes who can take the puck into the offensive zone than Slovakia did. Bottomline, teams with a 2 cm advantage are 4-1 in the tournament, the only exception being Slovakia sans-Ruzicka, the 3-2 match many didn't think was going to be close. Think we win by 2, maybe 3.

We have a good team but it's not good enough to beat the US if we are missing Lias Andersson. Hopeful that he playes and that his limited ice time against Slovakia was planned from the start.

As per always.. USA is hard for Sweden to beat. On top of that, underperformance in the last few games by several swedish key players doesnt make this an easy task.

Need better performance from the top 2 lines, fewer mistakes by the D and a stellar performance by Gustavsson to get past the US here. Not impossible, but it's gonna be hard.

USA will win 5-2. Sweden haven't played well at all this tournament.

Honestly I don't really think anyone has played well. Slovakia and Czech Republic did better than they usually do but all of the big teams have looked beatable.

Its hard to see how the US wins this without massive help from the refs. The good news for them is they have got that help all tournament long.

I think the US terrible defense negates the refs and Sweden wins 5-3.
