So if USA loses tomorrow there's a legitimate chance it could be Sweden/USA in the QF. Or the Czechs reward for beating Russia might be a game against the USA in the QF. Depends on how the Finland v. USA/Slovakia games go, as well as SVK/DEN

Saw that too. Doesn't change my point though really. Woll was naturally scrambling back and still made a brilliant effort because somehow the rest of the team not only let themselves be turned into pylons, but then casually let Bucek swing all the way around the net for a shot pretty much uncontested.

Yes. 3 way tie would be points in h2h games, then h2h goal differential, followed by h2h GF
USA still controls their destiny, even if Slovakia beat FIN and it was a 3 way 3-1 tie between CAN/CAN/SVK they could beat CAN by 4 to get 1st that way.

That was some of the worst defensive coverage I have ever seen on that game winning goal. Wow. Not a good game at all for Hughes.

It just shows what low expectations these teams have. They literally hopped off the benches hugging and screaming like it was a finals game. If the US or Canada had won it wouldn't be a big deal. Just an observation.
