I don't find it all too surprising, He should have probably made it, but with Barzal and Strome on the team he would have been used as a depth player or a winger, I could see the argument for Team Canada to choose other players for specific roles.

Another would mean one was wrong before or that this was a wrong opinion as well.

Point has looked shakey, the Slovak goalie has not been good and Canada still has very little to no offensive firepower.

Yes the prediction was wrong but so are most predictions especially when the score is included.

Concussion protocol followed I guess. He grabbed his head after crashing into the boards. Hope they are handling him right. Canada has this game in hand - surprised they didn't give him the rest of the night off to monitor his head.

What on earth was Thomas doing on that last shift? Only consistent offensive pressure from the Slovak's because he was dancing the night away in the defensive zone...
