Stop with the strawman.I caught parts of it. Not disputing that there's a rivalry, but if anyone's worried about bias, just because two sides don't get along, it can't be held anywhere but Finland.

What would that help?
Yes Räsänen is big and physical dman but he's slow skater.
The only thing that is relatively certain is that Luukkonen isn't so clear number one starter as some have expected ( Craig Button).
Luukkonen was really shaky and extremely unsure what i saw him in 1st period i shutdown my stream after 3-1 goal).
Also Heiskanen's position in 1st defense should be questioned.
Heiskanen was quite invisible in this game he definitely didn't play well.
Honestly said Heiskanen was like a shadow on that what he has been in HIFK.
Sometimes not having a bonafide star isn’t a bad thing. These guys played for each other and played hard, made things happen. They look like they’re all on the same page. Not sitting back and hoping a star pedigree player wins it for them.
It just pisses me off that the video refs are Canadian. I’ve never ever witnessed a goal favouring Canada being overruled by the ”unbiased” refs. I bet they don’t even watch the video. They just wait for a couple of minutes and then make the decision based on what benefits Canada.
Of course they did, they were the better team.
I just do not understand how there is always this certain percentage of fans that are such sore losers and cannot just accept defeat gracefully.
Don’t hate the player hate the game
I'm not too worried about Tolvanen, as he's a NSH ( I'm a NSH fan, which explains my calmness about him being 'cold' in this tourney so far.) prospect and pretty easily penciled into the roster next year if he completes the latter half of his year with decent numbers. He will get the support he needs if his play remains as it has been in this tourney. Then he's not as good as I've thought and not what I've seen from him in the KHL.
Our 1st line can be one of the best lines in this tourney, and Tolvanen should be in a good spot for his talent level, Vesalainen looked alright today when the team failed.
Couldn’t care less. I’m from Sweden, but nice try. It just pisses me off that the video refs are Canadian. I’ve never ever witnessed a goal favouring Canada being overruled by the ”unbiased” refs. RULE 175 – AWARDING A PENALTY SHOT/SKATER FALLING ON PUCK i. If a skater falls on, holds, gathers the puck into his body, picks up the puck with his hands, or conceals the puck with his hands from the ice in the defending zone goal crease, the referee will award the opposing team a penalty shot.
Canadian player did non of the bolded. He swatted the puck out of the crease.
Well I don't get all the whining either, but doesn't help when most of you "polite" Canadians are riling them up even after you see that they are beyond reasoning. Theres sore losers like Brun0 for example, but theres no grace in your win for some of you.
Still waiting for somebody to provide proof that the puck was in or there should have been a penalty should be called on that disallowed goal...
yeah our individual talents aren't great by our standards, but if we play like this it won't matter. Speed and tenacity with great goaltending is going to make us very tough to beat. And of course we do have enough high end skill to match other teams, we just don't completely overpower them like usualLoved the effort from this team. Clearly the better team.
Better than your tin foil garbage
Do you really believe this? The Refs don't make the call off the ice, the war room does. Now your gonna say they too are Canadian and biased.
