If/when Kreider/Fast/Strome get traded hopefully VK will fit in and have a positive impact.
I’m with all of you very exciting but just throwing caution out there. The chance (hopefully very slim) it doesn’t work out especially if it’s work ethic/attitude reasons it could be much worse than the first time around.
Great news.
Honestly would like to see them just give him a shot with the big club. 3rd line.

I mean...This has been the strangest roller coaster I’ve ever been on
He said roller coaster, not train wreck.I mean...

He hardly played for Traktor and then was sent to a league worse than the AHL. Very much doubt this is against his will...The only way this could get worse is if Gorts is calling him back against his will. I can’t read Russian so I don’t know what he said in his farewell post. But so long as kravtsov is on board this will fix things. He’s a great player, Hartford’s compotent and got a good thing going, he’ll be fine. I’m actually happy this happened now and will most likely never be a concern in the future. The KHL looming. Think his experience in Russia just now makes both rykov and Igor less likely to leave. That was a nightmare for him

Neither are youHe said roller coaster, not train wreck.
He should be no place but Hartford. He really has to earn this now. There is no free ticket out to Russia any more.I personally think he needs time in Hartford. Not saying he’s physically gonna get stronger and mature overnight but getting some positive work down in Hartford will help. Plus the team with Shesty/Rykov is not a disaster anymore. I hope he buys in to the importance of winning in Hartford
Also what should be told to him - clean slate. Nothing about leaving is going to be held against him, as long as he works hard and is motivated he will play and he can make his way to the NHL.well and I hope some of the conversation is about how they're looking to be able to call up a player like him and that Hartford isn't some permanent thing for the rest of the year if he goes down there and succeeds. Sometimes taht stuff needs to be spelled out
Didn’t he go back to find a barberLook how much of a mess he was when he went back to Russia
