What a colossal waste of time. This sets him back a half season and honestly the Rangers should tell him, his agent & family that the work starts now for next years camp if wants a shot at making the big club.

Conditioning stints only apply to players who are subject to waivers. The Rangers have the right to re-assign Kravtsov to the AHL at any time.

He needs to make a statement in Hartford. There's not much scoring there, Kravtsov needs to do what the coaching staff tells him to do and prove that he can use his skill to thrive in the system. It may take a couple of months, but he will back in the NHL.

You don't have to explain to me what a conditioning stint is.

Glad he is back in Hartford. We need to make it clear that he has a chance to get called up if he plays well. Even at the deadline, he could get the call after moving Kreider and potentially Strome.

He'll need at least 10 or so games to get comfortable.

Not sure if this was asked or said, but is he going to suit up this weekend?

Remember when people were upset about Kravtsov deleting his Rangers related photos from Instagram? Well, as I said before, he did it because he committed to Traktor, the same way he deleted his Traktor posts when he signed with us.

Anyway, he has deleted his newer Traktor posts today, to fully commit to the Rangers. You can agree or disagree with him deleting it but at least we can all agree it wasn't an "anti Rangers" thing

I will never understand Zoomers and social media.

One word...Igor. (And Huska hasnt been bad)
Yeaaah, that team had Georgiev last year and was 29-36-7. Also, reports from those who've been watching the team have positively glowed about their structure and discipline.

I'm not denying that there was likely some miscommunication between Knoblauch and Kravtsov, some of which may be on the coach – and if so, he needs to fix that. But to overlook all the other positive stuff he's done would be wrong and silly. Heck, he even has Andersson going now, it appears.

chances are that he gets sent to NYR and not to Hartford???

it is a guarantee that he is Hartford bound or NYR bound?

This was posted a couple of pages ago. I can't imagine he wouldn't be sent to the Wolfpack. He hasn't exactly set the world on fire with his play recently. He needs time to get up to speed on the type of game played here in general and how to fit into the Rangers' system. Better that he do it away from pressure cooker that is New York City.

Sure beat down on a kid that is already at his lowest level of confidence. That will get him going! Whether you think he's being a baby or not is not relevant here. The most important thing is how to get him going again. I don't think telling him he stinks and that he won't make the club until next year will do anything but deflate him even more. Let's move away from the "haha told you so" approach here...

Which Russian ex-NHLer are we hiring as his life coach?

I don't think we need to be so pessimistic. There's plenty of hockey left in the season and there's a good chance Kravtsov will catch up pretty quickly if he's willing to put the time and effort in--which I would think is something Kravtsov realizes he needs to do at this point Plus, the Wolfpack is playing well--they will surely get a boost from his scoring ability.

There's also a very good chance they make the playoffs and could very well win a round or two. They have a solid defense and very good goaltending.

I don't think it's about beating him down and telling him he sucks. It's about very clearly establishing expectations and stating what he needs to do to get the NHL. Apparently it wasn't clear to him before, so now it needs to be made extremely clear.

Sure. Maybe I misunderstood his post but he was speaking about preparing next year's camp as if the team had already decided he wouldn't make the NHL club this year. Which would be a terrible approach. But I may have just misinterpreted.
