2017 WJC Failure?

Curious, but did you watch the 2007 Summit Series? Those 8 games weren't exactly what I'd call friendly, despite Canada dominating the thing.

I did and I don't at all remember there being over the top physicality like when Canada plays the US. But just so we're clear on this, I would personally LOVE to see this match-up. My thought is just that Hockey Canada and Hockey USA might not be so gung-ho on putting their kids through the grinder. It certainly would have more chance as a summer series perhaps, but as a WJC tune-up, it's pretty unlikely.

Gotcha. Yeah, I agree it's unlikely. I guess we can dream though.
