1st period in, Slovaks look really solid this year, strong forcheck and couple of chances despite being down by 1.

Finland leads 0-1 in first intermission.
Vesalainen scored Finland's first goal Ikonen drives to net and plays puck for Vesalainen and he scores top shelf. No chance for Sklenar to save that goal.

After Finland's goal Slovakia got the pressure in Finland's defensive zone.
Slovaks created few good scoring chances but Luukkonen was the man on net.

With better luck in scoring chances this game could be 2-1 for Slovakia.

I heard booing before and after the anthem, not during, but I may have the volume low at that point. Either way, the anthem is played to the victors, which in this game were shamefuly helped by a wrong decision on game tying goal.

You were classless to comment on fans only and not the hockey.

But 4-5 final score is 4-5 final score and win is a win Slovakia showed that they are dangerous team.

They were able to cause a lot troubles for Finland but it wasn't enough to win this game or even make in overtime.
Be proud of your team they fought with big Slovakian heart.

PS Hrehorcak what a helluva player if that guy stays healthy he has all tools and talent to be next Miroslav Satan or Zigmund Palffy

Slovakia showed that they are dangerous team.

But this is hockey, where we have video technolgy. Why on earth an overturned goal during game cannot be challenged to be reviewed by the video ref. It makes no sense.

Yes we are proud of Slovakia being a equal opponent to Finland after a long time, where they legitimetaly should have not lost. So it is a very sour loss.
