who is the russian wonderkid is it Svechnikov?
Yeah, he's looking good. Also the Finnish top guns have come to play. Vesalainen using his size to bulldoze through Russians, Heiskanen skating well and making good decisions (even though he's had a few fumbles with the puck), Luukkonen looks calm and plays the puck well. Talvitie is becoming one of my favorites quickly, he's such energetic workhorse in the mold of someone like Komarov.

Räsänen was surprisingly good in first, better in every possible way,
skating looks better, passing is good,5 hits so far, overall solid
defending from Eemeli.

Best game so far from Räsänen in these worlds.

Ylönen makes it 1-0! :handclap:

With 2 seconds left on the powerplay. Ylönen already had a couple of really good chances, glad that one went in.

What a breakaway by Kupari and 5-3 powerplay for Finland. Really strong period for Finland, even though it hasn't shown in the score sheet (yet).

Been watching the Finland team closely at the tournament. Is it just me or all of these players could easily go in the first round: Heiskanen, Vesalainen, Vaakanainen, Rasanen, Tolvanen and Valimaki. Also loved Kotkaniemi and Ikonen's play and am now wondering if Ikonen is close from being 1st rounders. Should be a really, really strong draft for the Finns!

Kupari is probably the best skating prospect we've had in ages.

Didn't really like the 5vs3, Ikonen didn't have to one time to puck from so far out.

Usually the problem for Finns is that they don't shoot enough, now they're shooting too easily from bad spots when there's room to mix up the package a bit and look for more dangerous situations (at least on the power play)

Anttalainen you ****ing moron! He takes one of the dumbest penalties ever at this point of game.
