Ikonen, vesalainen and heiskanen sticks out to me thus far.

Where is eeli Tolvanen :(

Tolvanen is there where his team Sioux City is means that he's playing USHL playoffs.
With those game schedules what USHL did their playoffs was kinda expected Tolvanen will miss U18 WJC's this year.

Every NHL scout knows that Tolvanen can score lots of goals in NHL and Tolvanen doesn't need U18 WJC's anymore to prove that.:D

Heiskanen has impressed me personally.. that goal he just scored was a damn nice one as well.

Go Finland. :handclap:

I'm expecting Finland to win. Canada doesn't look good, slow, unsure, and looks like they don't know what to do on the big ice.

Seems for big parts they try too much individually. A bit simpler may be better?

Please don't jinx.
If Finland would not have known blow-out 5-1 lead ( 2003 IIHF world championships quarterfinal vs Sweden) I would be much more trusting what i'm right now.

Canada if any team in the hockey world is able to comeback being down 4-2.
That's true Canada hasn't impressed in this game but it doesn't mean that they are bad team.

Did Ikonen return? Didn't watch the game. Damn early start times, people have to work too..

Was a pleasure to listen to that commentator Jari Haapala instead of that soccer commentator, Matti Härkönen. Anyone else think so too?

Both are great compared to Juusela, glad he is gone to MTV and Formula 1 now. Tuulola is probably the best color commentator we have aside from Vallin.

I agree on both points. Tuulola is great for juniors.

Good game for Finland.
How Canada was able to be so weak as they was today.

None of Canadian players didn't stand out in positive way.
Canada can not really be so tame.

Yeah yeah European ice surface and missing all their top U18 players for CHL playoffs was once again an excuse for Canada's loss.
Yes they have B team in this tournament but still they should be much better than they were today.
