All our 6 defenders are playing good and are stars in NHL, there is no way we will add another defender, just forget it. It would work if we where Canada, Russia or USA, but that type of mentality does not exist with us.

Grönborg would never choose Larsson over Karlsson or Klefbom.

We already have plenty of what Klefbom brings and the ones we have are all better at it so why wouldn't he?

I mean sure primarily I'd want Anaheim out so we atleast have a shot at Silfverberg and Rakell but there is no way Edmonton gets back from that giant momentum loss last night

Babcock had Nylander takling strong side faceoffs for Toronto at the end of the season as well. He's actually pretty good on the right side in faceoffs.

They don't know quite yet but the swedish team doctor seemed to suspect that the slashing hit a nerve on the outside of the knee, if that is the case it hurts like hell but he should be fine.

Didn't like that nylander was getting limited minutes in the 1st and 2nd. Hopefully the coach see's his value and increases his ice time. Also he needs to be utilized better on the PP. His shot is deadly.

Nylander went from being the worse player on the ice against russia to being by far the best player on the ice against germany. Hopefully that is not about that he has a problem to play against tougher opponents but more about that the game aginst russia was his debut.

Well he did play 19:47, only Söderberg played more among the forwards.

Overall it was a good game, not sure what conclussion we can make of a game against germany.

I would like them to move back to Klingberg - OEL and let the first 2 D-pair (OEL, Hedman, Klingberg, Strålman) get like 25 min each, and let Brodin and Edler get like 10 min. Kind of like Nashville, if you have 4 d-men that stands out, play them heavily instead of spreading them around.

Overall the D has look good as you can expect, only Edler hasnt been that great, not the best Edler I have seen.

It do not matter, bench a NHL player could cause damage long term. Edler hasnt been perfect but he is alot better than the averge 6D we usually have in whc. But they should stop coaching our D so socialy, Edler play almost as much as Klingberg and Hedman.

Definitely doesn't have an issue playing tougher opponents. Was a beast vs Washington.
