I dont know anything about Andronov...any information about him?
What kind of player is he ?

Well that's the difference between Soviet teams of yesteryear and NT now.
They didn't need to take Telegin and Lyubimov types.
If Rangers is out would Pavel Buchnevich get a call ?
What do you guys think Mironovs playing minutes will be? Really excited to watch him play and hoping that he can make the AVs roster next year.![]()
Well Telegin was and is for me maybe the only positive thing about Znarok. Maybe he will suck this WHC, but until now he was a positive contributor, very good defensive and energetic guy, playing much better than a lot of guys with more bigger names...
I don't agree with splitting up the Gusev-Schipachyov-Dadonov line.
Sure there was past chemistry with Panarin and Kuch/Gusev played together, but all of that is the past.
That line was awesome this season.

Im on the fence on this. If the Kucherov-Gusev line looked okay Id be okay but they have been bad even in the EHT games. Namestnikov is not the right option on the other side, IMO guy like Nichuskin could have been a good fit there.
Ovie was a big part of the 2008 WHC win, and did his part in 2012 (albeit for only the medal round) and 2014.
But what will haunt Ovie's legacy is the fact that he has won nothing at the top-level of international play - best-on-best - while not getting the Caps past the second round (which looks to be the case again this year).
Equally upsetting for Ovie is the fact that he's come out on the losing end in big games vs Crosby every single time: 2005 Junior final, 2009 playoffs, 2010 Olympics, 2015 WHC final, 2016 playoffs, 2016 World Cup semifinal, and now down 3-1 again...
His legacy will be as one of the greatest goal scorers in NHL history. It was never a one-on-one matchup with Crosby, as the games you cite feature Crosby as a part of Canadian teams that were better than their Russian counterparts. Beyond that, there is no question in my mind that Crosby is the best player in the modern era of NHL and Canadian history, not even on the same level as anyone else. He blows everyone else off the face of the Earth. Whether he is the best Canadian player in history is a matter for discussion. Only Howe, Orr, Gretzky and Lemieux belong in the same sentence in Canadian history IMO.
Is Bereglazov still with the team?
I mean if Orlov doesn't play in the WC, then we'll have only 7 D till the end of the tournament...
