WC: 2017 Team Canada - Part II

I'd def push for Holtby and Talbot if the Caps and Oilers get eliminated. Looking forward to this tournament starting tomorrow.
 
At the same time he is already over 80 games this season. If I were him I would just take that well deserved rest.

I would be very surprised if they added another goaltender. Regardless of whether Comrie is officially listed, they still have three goaltenders in Paris already. I don't think anything short of Martin Brodeur circa 2008 calling them up and demanding to go will change the current goaltenders.

This is weird. I can understand Comrie or Lee disappearing from the website... but not Couturier. Maybe there is an injury.
 
Who cares. Let's wait and see what happens. Whatever the reasons, I am rather happy that we are leaving 1+2+2 spots opened.
 
well, that's certainly disconcerting that Couts has yet to be registered.

Has to be an injury. Hockey Canada would not put that particular player on call pending answers from others still pursuing Lord Stanley.
 
Ya, just saw a short interview with Jon Cooper on TSN and he said it's nothing serious but they don't want to rush him back
 
Three Montreal West Island boys on the team!

Edit: Make that four because i am sure Vlasic was also from the West Island even though it says Montreal.

For those that don't know, the west island is what we Montrealer's consider the anglo part of Montreal. To see 4 players representing the country from that area is big for me having grown up there.

Gotta love the West Island! :) Hopefully the flooding there subsides soon.
