Pretty surprised that Parayko decided to go. He looked pretty worn down in the Nashville series and didn't look like he was at the top of his game. Hopefully he plays well for Canada.

Marner was the same way, tired and wore down. This tourney seems like more of a tourist trip and bonding experience with no pressure and Marner has been thriving over there so maybe Parayko will too. A chance to play for fun again.

Despite a defense that just has to get exposed sooner or later, they are on to another round after getting through a team that just can't seem to ever get the job done.

Barrie is a significant loss for this team. He was the best offensive defenceman on the team and was playing very well. I assume that it isn't a particularly bad injury, but I understand the caution.

Looking at the games tonight and the Rangers, I don't see any noteworthy defence options to add to the team. I assume that they will rightly just roll forward with Parayko and Lee inserted.

well that certainly sucks.

our chances at a 3-peat just took a hit.

oh well. injuries happen. adding Lee and Parayko is fine for now, but I hope they have a player on call just in case.

I would guess tha he was just messing around and he fell on something, I don't think that anyone beat him. I am laughing at that image though. Maybe Lee beat Barrie to get himself officially onto the team.
