The irony is that if they would score a lot normally they would not have been count in that quota of energy players from the start. I have no problem with energy players, I love players like Rakell, I have problems with when people are forcing in low scoring energy players just for the sake of having low scoring energy players in the team, energy players can produce also.

Scoring deph is importent, it is importent to have offensive good players even in the 4th line. You can win without it, but it certainly make it easier if you have scoring deph. Just look at columbus, they have high scoring players like Hartnell and Gagner in the 4th line, they do not have any mega super star, but their scoring deph give them a edge. Replacing Gagner and Hartnell with some low scoring players would not make them better.

Star-player? It off course depends on where you draw the line, but Boqvist could be consider a star player, Davidsson and Bratt not that far off. But sure we still have a decent deph, but it could have been better.

Yes you did, but lets forget that. So again we do not have other players that offers that?
No i didnt not. I wrote that you were stupid i f you thought..... so I didnt wrote that you was stupid.
But i have already said what I want to say about the Lööke case. So i dont need to do it again.

So the coach broke up the Pettersson-Andersson-Grundström line that absolutely killed it in the tournament in november, and played Pettersson and Andersson as wingers with Wingerli (at best 4th liner) as centre? I'm no coach or anything but that seems really odd.

Probably awaiting Nylander. I think the game against Russia will give a good hint about the lines.

Are they going to keep three goalies, aka Werner? Just wondering if there's any possibility he's going to play or get cut?

Which forwards are on the bubble? Which are locks?

Imo Nylander, Pettersson, Andersson, Dahlen, Asplund, Eriksson Ek, Grundström, Lööke, Davidsson and Söderlund are pretty much sure to make it. I don't know to much about the WHL guys though so can't say if they are in or not

I hope Söderlund will make it. However, I don't think it'd be a massive surprise if one of him or Olsson were cut, if Montén decides he really likes one or both of the WHL guys. Karlström and Wingerli are centers, so their odds are probably slightly better.

I hope Dahlström or Ahl is the last cut on F. Both need to be used in offensive situations with time on the PP to be effective, will be hard to fit them both in.

Two forwards will be cut. I agree, I think those two are most likely. The top nine seems pretty set, and the Skellefteå guys are probably better fits for a fourth line. Dahlström and Ahl's numbers look good on the surface, but they play for respectively the highest and second highest scoring teams in the WHL. Ahl is the fifth highest scoring player, and fourth forward, on Regina. Six of Dahlström's Medicine Hat teammates are outscoring him.

PP1
Oliver Kylington (Point)
Rasmus Asplund (Höger)
Alexander Nylander (Vänster)
Joel Eriksson Ek
Jonathan Dahlén

PP2
Jacob Larsson (Point)
Elias Pettersson (Höger)
Jens Lööke (vänster)
Lias Andersson
Carl Grundström

Probably safe to say that one or two of Dahlström & Ahl will be cut. Not sure I like Lööke on that 2nd PP but I guess he was the best RHS option. Everything will probably run through Pettersson there anyway.

I'm biased but I'm surprised they went with Lööke over Davidsson. He's used to that role in Djurgården aswell

Hmm, does this mean Olsson and Wingerli are cut?

Can you draw any conclusions on Dahlin being the 7th D? Do they want to see more from Gunnarsson and Bernhardt or am I just speculating now?

Bernhardt is playing with Lucas Carlsson again though, maybe that means it's a pairing?

It is hard to get a read on tbh.

Gunnarsson is filling in for G.Carlsson ofc... so it might be that he is 7D when Carlsson gets back.

And Lucas Carlsson and Bernhardt have been pretty much exclusively paired together so far... which seems to bode well for Bernhardt really. (him playing the right side for Djurgårdens helps too.)

Probably means they are locks. Montén already said he will give guys fighting for the final spots a look in this game.

Gunnarsson making it over Dahlin would bug me quite a bit. Pretty sure Dahlin is safe after seeing that lineup though.

Yes, same here. But I have a bad feeling Montén keeps Gunnarsson because of G. Carlsson's minor injury, which results in me causing an absolute ruckus.

Strong performance overall but what's up with Jacob Larsson? He was my biggest standout, but not in a good way.

Nobody looked fantastic in this game but Pettersson and Eriksson Ek showed glimpses of brilliance. Thought Lööke and Ahl had strong games as well.
