entwistle is still around. i would even package and trade up to get him. probably projects as a rw at the pro level but he's got the size and skating

Would like to see it traded. If not, hope for C or RW. Maybe we can find another JFK or Bergeron.

I was thinking of Anderson-Dolan, but he's very likely gone at 53. He'd fit the recent trend of picking based on long last names.

Too bad we couldn't have gotten Suzuki. He's a huge Bergeron fan, even wears #37 because of him. If he plays anything like him, Vegas got a good one.

Kid I've been intrigued by for a while and who I think will be there at #53 is Nikita Popugaev from Prince George in the WHL.

HUGE frame (6-6, 220ish?), great shot, questions about his skating and his attitude. I guarantee the Bruins have talked to Jesse Gabrielle about him, though.

Love Entwhistle and would love to get him in the 2nd. He absolutely seems like a winger, but he has some upside potential to being a top 6 winger, but if he doesn't develop the scoring, he could be a dominating 3rd line type

This could be a diamond in the rough pick.
I'd like to see Ratcliffe, Hague, this one or Lind.

Now that Vancouver has Kole Lind, I wonder if they'll trade Virtanen. Spooner straight up for him sounds fair.

for sure. his shot is big league heavy too. he's just a personal fav of mine so i'm likely overvaluing him a bit.

Picks coming fast and furious, Boston should be up soon. Goalies seem to be dropping

Any RWs worth the nab?

From what I've followed on here, 3 of the 4 "top" goalies are still available, no?

Dipietro and Luukkonen still on the board with 47 picks in.

Maxime Comtois best player left from McKenzie's list. Ranked 37. Hockey Writers had him as a 1st rounder.

Comtois is the falling Knife he was top 10 before the season. Occassionally these guys work out (Saad), but generally they end up being dogs at the next level (Esposito, etc). I don't try to catch the falling knife

I'd rather Entwhistle at RW. Or one of the goalies

DUcks select Comtois

Just from watching some highlights he's got some drama in his game. Looks like this could be a steal.

Was fully expecting a goal tender here but lots of good comments in the attached Hockey Writers concensus report.

Strengths
Good at faceoffs.
Excellent skater.
Good hockey IQ.
Under Construction (Improvements to Make)
Needs to add strength.
Consistency.
NHL Potential

Studnicka’s upside is that of a middle-six, two-way center who can chip in some offense. He has a higher floor than some of his peers thanks to his defensive game. He can also play in all situations which gives him a better chance at the next level.

Risk-Reward Analysis

Risk – 4/5, Reward – 3.5/5

Fantasy Hockey Potential

Offence – 7/10, Defense – 7/10
