German Defense is probably its strong point, offense is not that impressive. Notables include overager Tobias Eder, and late round pick candidate Leon Gawanke.

While I believe this is one of the weaker teams Germany has iced in the last decade, I think there are some players that might not be high profile, but could have a big impact. I am mostly thinking about Julian Kornelli among forwards and goalie Cody Brenner. If Brenner gets hot he is tough to beat.

If Germany lost to Norway at fulls strength to full strength that should be disconcerting. Norway shouldn't be giving Germany real issues. France in turn should be the whipping boys of the group.

I know for our game we beat Poland 7-1 early on. Then we scored 3 minutes into game 2 and I just assume the players shut off mentally because they'd just put 8 goals in 63 on this team. Not a good sign mentally speaking, in a championship as close as this dropping a point or two due to late mental lapses could be the difference.

Haha, well evidently forget what I said, Bernd Freimuller has us as relegation candidates. I obviously disagree, but we'll see. I think you tend to overrate players you know less about, he mentioned we're down 5 guys due to injury but I wouldn't have had 4 of those guys on my squad anyways.

Both he and Coach Bader said "Die heurige Gruppe ist sicher stärker als im Vorjahr und drei Siege in fünf Spielen sind nicht immer zu erwarten." which I think means teams in the group are better this year but I haven't talked to a single person on the other sides who thinks that.

PS: When he and I disagree about 70% of the time I'm the one who ends up looking really really stupid. I can count the times I've been right.

Not as far as I know, but it could be possible, since information about injuries of junior plyers are rarely reported here.
