Barzal,Konecny and Gauthier will lead the charge.

Beauvillier, Patrick, Dubois and McLeod will also have an impact.

Chabot and Chychrun will dominate on D. Meloche and Roy will be there.

Booth should get a spot.

Next year we'll be loaded.

Marner is in a stupid system. He won't get any better in the OHL and I agree that he isn't NHL ready. I doubt he will be next fall. I would love for him to have a season overseas but that's not very common for a prospect of his stature. I guess we'll wait and see. I think him playing for us next year in this tourney is 50/50.

There's a fairly decent chance Konecny makes the Flyers next year and if that's the case I don't know if Hextall would loan him.

Hope ppl realize that if Logan Brown and Chychrun don't make the Team theres a good chance they play for the US going forward.

October is 9 months away guys, he will be bigger and stronger by then. He will be in the NHL next season. Too good for the OHL.

I don't see how there is any way Chychrun doesn't make the Canadian WJC team next year (unless he makes the NHL). He seems to have made up his mind whose side he will represent. Logan Brown might be a bit different. He played in events for both sides this year. I think it's likely he gets an invite to the next U.S. WJC camp next summer.

any 17 yr olds ?
seems other countries are putting them in with success

2017 team will be overhyped again

Some new names I would like to see next year

Carter Hart Goalie
Chychurn
Nielsen
Brisebose
Jost
Fabbro
Dubois

No way Marner is in the show not with Lou and Babcock running the Leafs. He'll be back. Strome will play for Arizona.

Sure he can. Nylander looked like a stick when he was drafted but now that guy is built. Marner has nearly a year to put some weight.

We can play him for 30-40 games like the Oilers did with Draisaitl.

Perfect, and how's Nylander's NHL career going?

Lou and Babcock following the Oilers development path? Not happening.

They don't want near ready prospects playing in the NHL.

Even if you're right, and they do Draisaitl him for the first half of the season, he's still back with TC next year. They'll loan him like they loaned Nylander this year.

Unless he's injured, I expect Marner back with TC next year.

Missing Fabbro.

Make sure Chychrun, Chabot, Fabbro, Juulsen, and Bear are on the blueline and not have Lowry as the coach again.

What expertise do you have in saying "they arent developing" in the OHL. Just because they score a lot, doesnt mean you can't develop.

As I said, if Mitch Marner doesnt become a much stronger skater, he wont be on the team. He isnt big enough, fast enough, or even have a good enough shot to be in the NHL if he doesnt strengthen his skating. That will happen, but Im not sure it will over just 9 months

Gaudreau isn't big enough to be in the NHL either.

Kadri doesn't have a good enough shot to be in the NHL.

Peter Holland doesn't have good enough skating or hockey IQ to be in the NHL.

If they think he won't develop in the OHL, then he'll be in the NHL. He doesn't need to be a star right away.
