He had been passed last year but has now found his game.He is definitely no going to be the last pick in the draft.The coach got him to change his game and it has paid off enormously.He is a small center who can break in the zone with ease with his fast skating ability.He has a sniping shot with soft hands.He can work the boards and make defenders miss and give a great pass like St.Louis and has a great in side shot like Cammallari and break to the net with speed like Marchand.He just needs to bulk up 10 more pounds then could be the next Gaudreau the NHL is looking for.I would take him late 2nd but if he goes later he is a steal of a deal

This is a god pick. Boom or bust. I don't think they are sold on this being a good draft. They are addressing some needs like size and boom or bust guys. This guy can step into the Marlies next year and will be ready sooner than later.

Yup. Marlies needed centers. Although he's only 5'10", 172 lbs. It'll be an uphill battle for him, and he needs to bulk up a lot.
