Hello everyone, I'm looking to plan a trip to Montreal this year for the World Juniors this year!

Not sure if there is already a thread, but I figured a lot of people must be looking for tickets/interested in swapping tixs etc...

I only have interest in going to four games...

US vs Finland, December 26th

US vs Germany, December 28th

US vs Slovakia, December 29th

US vs Canada, December 31st

If I buy the 13 game package I'm willing to listen to any offers for individual tixs etc.

I will sell cheaper than stubhub, no fees or anything.

Hopefully this thread can be helpful for others!

MOD: Folks, friendly reminder. If you want to buy/sell tickets here, do so at your own risk. HF is not responsible in any way.

Inbox me as well. I have front row tickets in the Greens and Whites to Toronto AND Montreal packages. Non-Canada games, not looking for arms and legs, just more or less the face value

Is the 13 game package the only way to buy tickets other than resale? Or can you get individual game tickets as well? I only want to go to 2-3 games in Montreal, seems silly to buy the whole package.

You have to buy the package, that's how they get people to buy tickets to Finland-Slovakia.

Go to all the games. Don't resell them. It won't be worth it. Plus, you will have a blast. Trust me.

Please see above. You won't get face value, my friend. StubHub will be inundated with people selling. Stay at the games for the day and enjoy.

I'm guessing USA tickets should be cheap except the Canada game.

I wouldn't count on it. Or what do you count as cheap? For me, cheap is $20 to at most $30, and I'm pretty sure you're not going to get them for that price.

I don't know, Ryker. When it was in Buffalo, the U.S. games went for far less. Xokkeu is probably right.

Well, what did they go for in Alberta?

Not sure. You would know better than me. I still think they might go cheap - keeping in mind, it is a 20K+ arena. That is a lot of seats to fill. Again, in Buffalo where the U.S. games should have been in demand, you could get them for less than $15 on StubHub before the game - I know because I sold some. :)

No, I really don't know. I didn't see any of the games live, but was considering doing so. And I recall that when I was looking on StubHub, I could barely find anything for less than $20, and even that was only for a couple of lower ranked teams' games. I don't think I saw such low prices for the games in Edmonton, though, and certainly not the round-robin stage (I think those prices were for the elimination games).

Maybe you are right and they may be expensive - I have been wrong many times in my life and this may just add another to the list. :)

I would love to, but the crew that I'm going with is split down the middle with people there for the WJC's and people there to go on a roadtrip haha

Just go to the games, yourself. The arena is very accessible. At that time of year, a road trip will not give you much to do/see.

Again, when I went to the WJR's in Buffalo, I paid $40/ticket. The best resale price I received on the U.S. games was less than $15. Many time even less than that. Some never sold - and that is for a smaller arena in the U.S.

Also, in hindsight, my two regrets from that amazing tournament :

1) Not seeing every game.
2) Not selling my tickets to the Gold Medal game - I was offered a ton of money and, in the 3rd period, I had my guts ripped out. ;)

I was offered $400/ticket for the GMG in Buffalo but all I can say is, "Wow!"

All the seats in the Bell Centre are good seats.

Good point.

Don't get too hung up on where you sit. The view will be fine and the atmosphere will be terrific no matter where you sit.

do you think the prices will go down?

Depends how the tournament plays out. Most people believe Canada and the U.S. will be undefeated and competing for first place. If that is the case, on NYE, it will be the place to be and expensive.

My guess... it will go down when others see how much they can make selling their tickets and StubHub gets flooded.

Good luck.

do you think the prices will go down?

It will almost certainly be cheaper right before the game. THere's going to be a flood of tickets on the market and people will get jumpy when they don't sell those $600 tickets.

Yeah right before the game,, 20mins before puck drop... I would think they would go up in price.. Its Canada USA on NYE. Alot of hockey fans have no issue paying more then 600$ Besides look a Mid week leaf games goes for more.
