In a 2015 World Junior Championship*game that was tightly contested through most of the first period, Canada took control and defeated the USA 5-3 in their New Year’s Eve showdown at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Both teams are headed to the quarterfinals on Friday, with Canada facing upstart Denmark and the USA facing off against Russia.
