Anyone watching this? It's a student hockey championship - many of the WJC players are participating. Currently watching Russia vs. Sweden, 3-1 after two periods.
ehh??
Spain is the host country. And SK and Japan... let's keep in mind that the requirements for these teams is that players have to be both university students and decent hockey players. That actually is quite rare outside North America. For goodness sake South Korea, Japan and Spain are in this thing.
It's not cheating at all. Much of WJC players and Olympians are studying at Russian Universities and playing for their University Teams.Russia majority of the time cheats at competitions like these, so no surprise yet again. Sending World Junior players, Olympians in other student tournaments. What does it prove really.

How is taking the competition seriously, cheating? All these players are students. The US could send a team full of NCAA players if they wanted to.
