Of the 25 on this years list - how many do you think will actually play an NHL non-preseason game?
Some are already on the team (or probably are): Gibson, Vatanen, Rakell, Andersen.
Some are good enough to get a look when injury hits: Karlsson, Kerdiles, Manson, Wagner.
Some are wild cards: Noesen, Sorensen, Friberg, we might see if we're buried under injuries again.

I'll guess 7.

If we're just talking about this year then basically this.

I was asking more in general, maybe a 2 part then this year and ever

Year numbers will differ among fans but to give you some insight, this could be when the other prospects Spicy didn`t mention could get some playing time. Their upside pretty sure won`t be reached as they enter NHL though.

Theodore - 15/16
Ritchie - 15/16
Pettersson - 16/17 or 17/18

These are the higher rated prospects but Montour, Kase, Thompson among others could see some NHL ice one day too!

I am late to the party but why is LeBlanc not on the list is he not eligible? He was skating with the big team today at their practice wearing #65. He is better than some in the bottom of the list without a doubt...

He just got a change of scenery trade and no one knew where he fit relative to everyone else.

Well, I wouldn't mind if he surprised everyone and took a bottom 6 role this season. Anyway, people here don't know him very well, except that he was considered a bust in his previous team so he has to get rid of that label to win fans to his side.
