Couldnt the Ignla deal be with bonuses? So say a base salary of $2.5 million that counts against the cap this year and say $2 million in bonuses which could be deferred to next year?

Shawn Thornton plays LW and RW. I dont think he plays center.

The Rangers can't waste more money on a RW. Center and LW are their needs.

You can hope and pray all you want, Rick Nash is MUCH more effective as a RW. You don't bring in players to play them out of position.

I know as Ranger fans we're spoiled bringing in big names, but it simply is not a fit.
 
I still think its funny that Nash all of a sudden sucks on the LW.. the Guy played there his whole damn career pre Rangers.

I agree - I was mainly talking about the PP.

I wasn't praying. I thought of Iginla weeks ago and let it go as soon as someone told me he struggled at LW

So everyone is gone. Who the heck is playing next season? Where is the money going? How can they not re-sign a single player? How can they rationalize having not even talked to Dominic Moore?

They aren't at the table yet?

What the **** are they doing with their time?

Nobody is gone yet. Im not quite sure how $2M sliced off the projected cap means every single UFA the Rangers have is automatically gone.
 
More sensationalist BS from the media. We bought out Richards and traded Dorsett to free up cap space. Calm down.
