What about Jack Skille as this year's Benoit Pouliot?
Former first round pick. Good size. Crazy good speed. Hasn't found a way to really put it all together at the NHL level. A RWer, I wonder if he can play LW. He'll come cheaper than Benny and probably look at a one year deal rather than 2 or 3.
27 years old. 4 goals in 16 games with the Blue Jackets last year. Played mostly with Dubinksy and Johansen in the playoffs, and we heard nothing but good things about that line matching up against Crosby. On the other hand, his Corsi does leave a lot to be desired.
