As mentioned in the last thread. the stretch from 12/14 to the end of january is going to kill us. Hopefully the team will be up to the task.

It could be worse. look at SJ.

16 of their first 21 games on the road, including 2 east coast trips and opening in LA, no less. Crazy.

Not bad. 15/24 home games to open season. No real crazy travel. 12 backtobacks.
Looks like Talbot should get about 15 games.

I have to say that having the #1 comment on the Rangers facebook post regarding the schedule release is up there with the highlights of my life. :sarcasm:

It's going to be nice not having that ridiculous road trip to start the season.

13 of 19 on the road from 12/13 to 1/27 with a West Canada and California trip is pretty brutal. Maybe not as brutal as our typical 9 game road trips opening seasons :sarcasm: but pretty bad still.

Doesn't look bad at all in that 19 game stretch we play the canucks, oilers, flames, canes, canes, capitals, devils, panthers, sabres, senators, islanders, islanders or in other words 12 of those 19 against teams who didn't make the playoffs last year

Didn't one member here use to make a printable schedule that always was a handy sheet to hang around the office and at home?

I remember yearly printing it out and looking at it...planing....hoping...dreaming...

I meant it more of a traveling / jet lagg aspect more than anything.

That homestand we had after all the traveling last year was a disaster of an example.

Go to the schedule on the website. Copy and paste into excel. Delete whatever columns and rows you don't want, and print.

Finally in Chicago on a weekend. Will be taking road trips to Toronto in November and Chicago in March this season.

This preseason schedule sucks. Should be a perfect cheap game to take kids but they're all at 7:00 pm and two of them are on a Monday school night

I feel bad for any Rangers full or partial season ticket holder who is also a Giants fan; it looks like the Rangers have FOUR Sunday home games that directly conflict with a Giants game, including the Rangers' home opener.

I'd guess Cam Talbot's first start probably comes against Toronto with the back-to-back against Edmonton @ Home to follow. He was 2-0 with a .962 SV% vs Toronto last season.

I would normally say yes, but there is no way the Rangers deny Henrik a home opener.
