What do you think about this line up ?

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Parenteau (Offensive line)
Galchenyuk - Eller - Gallagher (EGG line)
Prust - Plekanec - Sekac (Defensive line)
Bournival - Malhotra - Weise (Speed and grit)

EXTRAS : Moen, Bourque

I think that Pleky is perfect in a defensive role with Prust, they would play against the opponent's best line. Sekac could bring a bit of offense and he has a Tchek connection with Plek ! We can also put Gallagher instead of Sekac during critic situations.

Parenteau is not better then Bourque BTW, Sekac is unproven BTW, Bournival is still green, Gionta and Georges will be miss.

If we can manage to trade DD + for a winger like Ladd:
Patches-Pleks-Ladd
Bourque-Eller-Gallagher
Prust-Galchenyuk-P.A
Bournival-malhotra-Weise

If we can't trade DD
Patches-DD-Gallagher
Galchenyuk-Eller-P.A
Bourque-pleks-sekac
Prust-malhotra-Weise

I'd like to be stronger down the middle. Galchenyuk needs to try his hand at center at some point

Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gallagher
Sekac-Plekanec-Galchenyuk
Bourque-Eller-Parenteau
Bournval-Malholtra-Weise
Prust Moen

Markov-Subban
Emelin-Gilbert
Tinordi/Beaulieu-Weaver
Tinordi/Beaulieu

Call-up if major injuries:
Andrighetto
Nygren (if he's around) or Pateryn

Tinordi is in against physically tough team, Beaulieu in the other games.

PP1: Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gallagher
Markov-Subban

PP2: Parenteau-Plekanec-Galchenyuk
Beaulieu-Gilbert
(Emelin if Beaulieu not in lineup)

Last 3 seasons:
Parenteau: 143 points in 183 games
Bourque : 27 points in 128 games

Although i'm not a big fan of Parenteau....he's still more usefull than Bourque

I'm not expecting Galchenyuk to have a huge breakout season like Tavares or Giroux in the past, but if he can have one similar to say Ryan Johansen, I'd be ecstatic.

Galchenyuk lot of skill there, can see him breaks out this year like Seguin did last year

Patches - Davey - Parenteau
Chuckie - Plekky - Gally
Borky - Eller - Bournival/Sekac/Weise
Prust - Malhotra - Moen/Weise

Emelin - Subban
Markov - Weaver
Gilbert - Beaulieu/Tinordi/Free Agent/Whoever wins it in camp

Price
doesn't matter

PP:

Patches - Davey - Parenteau
Subban - Markov

PP2:
Chuckie - Eller - Gally
Gilbert - Bealieu

I have a feeling Gilbert is going to do wonders for our 2nd PP unit... he can't be any worse than Gorges/Emelin lol.
