I won't vote because I do not know much of the prospects left on this board, nor am I an Islanders fan, but I am surprised Taylor Cammarata has not gone yet. He's very small, to be sure, but his talent is undeniable. What is the general feeling towards him on this board?

I won't vote because I do not know much of the prospects left on this board, nor am I an Islanders fan, but I am surprised Taylor Cammarata has not gone yet. He's very small, to be sure, but his talent is undeniable. What is the general feeling towards him on this board?

The Islander prospect pool is very deep this year. And Cammarata is a relative unknown at this point, coming from the USHL. Not sure how many fans have gotten to see him play at this point. I think this is where you'll see Taylor get added to the rankings (next few polls). Again, it's not a knock on him, just a deep system right now. Once he stars at Minnesota as a freshman next season he has a chance to fly up these rankings next year.

I hope he backchecks more and gets more involved in the neutral zone transition game a lot more than he did in the scrimmage this summer. He seems to have some bad habits like cherry picking. Then again, it's a scrimmage. I'll ignore that once the NCAA season begins.
