Prospect Criteria for the purposes of this poll mimics the ‘Hockey’s Future’ Prospect Criteria: If a prospect is a skater (forward, defenseman) and has played in 65 NHL games or more before the completion of the season of his 24th birthday; or, if a goaltender has played in 45 NHL games before the completion of the season of his 24th birthday, that player will be considered graduated to the NHL. Conversely, if a player completes the season of his 24th birthday without passing those milestones, then that player will no longer be considered a prospect by Hockey’s Future, regardless of the player’s status with his NHL club.

My goal is to have these polls run for 48 hours each and to extend through the top 25 prospects as per hfboards.

When you vote, PLEASE ADD SOMEONE FOR THE NEXT POLL. All the Islanders prospects are listed above!

Hickey.

After researching Burroughs after DREx's nod, I like what I see. Avg size but plays bigger. Played well against guys 3 or 4 years older and 30(!) min a night. uhh don't blow out our prospect mmmkay?

add him

damn, we have almost enough D prospects to ice two teams in the future. Hope we hold onto the right ones.

I really liked the Burroughs pick from the moment it happened. Hope he can keep improving. I think he could be the 2nd best player from our 2013 picks.

Kabanov.
Add Russo.

This is the third poll in a row that I've voted for Kabanov.

What do you guys think of Kabanov? Why don't you have him in front of Sundy or Pokka?

Or even better why do I still believe in him? Is there something I'm missing?

Please discuss!

same player he was in jr...skates well, brain like a pee. Constantly wastes possesion of the puck...

ullstrom. add camarayta. how did mcadam or russo get in the conversation over thos kid?

Ullstrom add russo. Camarata too small IMO. I like KK, but he had a terrible season last year (injury, healthy scratch)

Pelech add Cammarata

this was one of the toughest choices IMO.

probably all the guys that say that Camarata is too small, are knuckle-draggers, that watch WWF. you guys are lucky that i don't tell Marty St. Louis this. he's got a temper, you know. you push his buttons enough, and he'll jump up and punch you in the ankle!

:D
