2013/2014 Minnesota Wild News and Notes - New Division and New Expectations

There was one of these last year, and as of today, October 1st, the off-season is over and training camp is pretty much done.

Here, we can discuss news, notes, and everything else concerning the Wild.

First up, a Wild.com article on Jason Pominville:

“(Regier) called and said he wanted to let me know where I was going before it came out publicly,” Pominville said. “But I said, ‘I think I already know, is it Minnesota?’ And he said, ‘Yeah.’”

After the swift move and ending to last season, off the ice, Pominville and his family are settled in Minnesota, which will make life easier at the rink.

“I don’t think I could do it without them,” Pominville said. “We got here around Sept. 1 and found a place. Everyone is here and excited.

“It’s starting to feel like home.”

I'm thinking something like 15g+25a=40p. I'm really in the dark, tho. Haven't even seen any of the pre-season games so it's all pure guessing. I'll be a bit dissapointed (point wise) if he gets less than 0.4ppg. 40-50 points is realistical to ask of him, IMO.

Imma pass the ball; how many games do you guys think Dumba will play this season?

Nino has never had more assists than goals. 25 g 15 a would be a more realistic guesstimate.

I had DirecTV with Center Ice. Then I had to move into this ****** apartment. I want to get Midcontinent and Gamecenter.

None. Pitbull is done.

795. Every goal the Wild and Canadiens score, plus other assorted goals, plus every fight that happens in the league.

Weeping silently since my fantasy football team knocked his off by a razor thin 0.98 points last night.

Infinite. Every time we lose we will line up at the cliff, and every time we win we will be too scared of failure to get as high as we did when we went through the whole "Church of Yeo" stupidity that jinxed us that year.

125. Do not ask me how I know. You could not handle it.

Counting replays? I dunno. A couple hundred? At least he's better than Terhar. Now if only they'd jettison Greenlay we'd have a servicable TV pair.
