I offered my 1st row gallery seats here for $360 each and they didn't sell
Someone paid $498 including fees on Stubhub. I think the majority of the people on this board are looking for lower priced tickets. It's too bad because there are some very fair offers

Well another problem is the suits/corporate people are buying all the seats from the resale sites. Id love to take advantage of some of the deals you guys are providing but prices are just insanely high. Tough to justify paying $720 for a pair of tickets despite it being a phenomenal deal.

I agree with this.... Some of us don't have the luxury of paying these kind of prices. I almost jumped on the pair for $700 or so here but can't justify it at this time. If we get to the finals, then I may have to bite the bullet and buy a pair but if I can't do it, I think I'll make my wife come to NYC with me anyway (from CT) just to be in the city if we have a chance to win it all.

On that note, do the bars around the area (Puck, Stout, etc) have the sound on for the games?

Why is that a problem and how do you know they are corporate people? Are you saying someone who wears a suit to work can't be a real fan?

That's pretty much it. On here, most are just looking for face or even less.

From what I've found selling tix on here, that's spot on. If you're looking for more than face for any game (playoffs included) you're not going to find any takers here, even if they are good/fair deals.

Anything in the gallery for $350 or less is a steal here for any of these games vs Montreal. and $750 or less for the SCF

I think he's saying a lot of law firms/accounting firms/business consulting firms purchase tickets to bring clients and expense it, so $1000 for a pair of tickets is nothing, driving overall prices up.

Well I hope this thread doesn't veer too far off track.

I am in the market for Game 6 tickets, and I very much understand the current prices out there.

Not all but do you wonder why the crowd isn't like it was in the past? I work for a trading company and tons of "ranger fans" (maybe since the playoffs started) are all taking clients. One has zero interest in hockey and doesn't flinch at paying $750 a ticket.

Also I doubt anyone really is looking for face value tickets, although it is stated in the rules not to sell over them (which no one follows anyway). When asking for over $700 for a 2.5 hour event, you have to understand most of the people that can afford that are not on here posting about the team.

Again I appreciate the lower than market value offers, but you have to understand a corporate guy who can put it on his company tab can easily pick up these costs.

yeah pretty much, I had a single available in 400s row 5 for Thursday that I was offering for $295 all in, no takers here. Someone on TM+ just bought it for about $450 total including fees

Prices are way too high, there's just no supply. I still think the Rangers will release something more by tomorrow

Wonder how much media is taking up seating. Wouldn't surprise me to see the entire south bridge + some. But yeah, I agree. There are always tickets that pop up day of due to team and league holds though there will be a lot fewer than the last two rounds.

Have tickets been coming back into the system 1-2 days before the games typically? I would be coming up from DC, so don't think I could randomly go to the game unless I had that much notice.

Need 1 For Sunday

Looking for 1 for Sunday, preferably under $300. Don't care where it is, as long as I'm in the building.

I know it's not that much of a "deal" but the cheapest pair of gallery seats on stubhub for game 4 are over 525/ea. If anyone here wants a pair for 900 total, they're yours.

Sec 202, row 2

SOLD

I'm a blue collar guy who's been a fan for life and I can tell you this....I'm priced out. I bought tickets to the first game against Philly for $175 per ticket in the upper 200's and it was all corporate. Lots of white collars who bring clients with them. When I tell you these people didn't have a clue and spent most of their time on their phones and using the rally towels to wipe their mouths after finishing their daily burgers. The "old garden" crowd is very much missed. I'm lucky if I can make a couple of games per year with the way prices are now. What I found is it's more fun (and cheaper) to take short road trips (Philly, DC, NJ, LI)

Well, I can tell you the guy who sits to my right and I both sold our tickets to regular fans for that game. I make good money, but I am far from wealthy. I have had seasons since I was 22 (1998) and was making $300/week as a cold-caller. The people I sold game 2 of the Flyers series, games 3 and 4 of the Pens series and game 3 of this series are all regular fans. I also see plenty of "regular" fans on their phones all game. My advice is you start paying more attention to the guys on the ice rather than what color collar the people sitting around you are wearing.

I just really get a kick out of the concept that because you are financially successful, then you are no longer a real fan. Or, because you are not a blue-collar worker, you are not a real fan.
