I hope that the first home game in MSG will be on thursday, otherwise I can think about selling my ticket.

It´s really annoying that they announce the final schedule pretty late.

Hopefully some sports journalists from either NY or Montreal will tweet it in the next couple of hours...:(

I'd say Wednesday/Thursday. I think the back to backs are probably done now that it's the Conference Finals.

NBC SN and NBC have a game every day according to the schedule they have posted.
Almost guaranteed that games 3 and 4 are going to be next Wed and Fri

First game Rangers vs Canadiens will be in Montreal Saturday at 1pm. The 2nd game will be Monday at 8pm.

The remaining 5 games will be each successive Saturday night in montreal.

The prices in Montreal are about what I expected. I wonder how much inventory they have for sale

I am interested in any reasonable pair of tickets for any game this series. If you are trying to make a killing on a pair to suits I am not your guy. But if you are looking for a couple of die hard rangers fans that will scream our heads off all game long look no further.

Just pm me please if you are selling reasonable pair.

Thanks.

LGR!

Have not gotten lucky yet however, this waiting room thing is something ticketmaster should definitely use. Gives people who can't click fast enough a fighting chance.

Not really, the quickest people still get through the quickest, and the slightly slower ones end up in a waiting room. All of these systems are the same and they are all manipulated by insiders.

...for those who missed it from the other thread:

First 4: Sat, Mon, Thurs, Sat. Shocked its not wednesday. But interesting

not so, I have experience with their system and it's completely random. You can be the first person in the waiting room and never get an opportunity, or you can show up at XX:59 and sail right through. Luck of the draw

Going by the season standings, we would get home ice if we got to the final either?

Nope, all three teams in the west have better regular season records than us.

First two rounds based on rank, second two rounds based on record.

What's the source?

Lines up exactly with what I said. Bell Centre is booked the night after when that game 7 would be scheduled and that was the only possible arena conflict. Game 4 would also be the prime time NBC game.

Hey guys,

Diehard Ranger fan here. I read everything but rarely post. Want to go to a playoff game but can't afford it. If anyone has any tips or advice about where/when to buy the cheapest tickets I'd really appreciate it. Please shoot me a pm.

Thanks!

Jeff

Not breaking any new ground here but I think the best way is to constantly keep checking Ticketmaster. They are sold out now, but inventory is updtaed throughout the playoffs. I'd get the ticketmaster app on your phone and check it non stop.
Maybe you catch it at the right time when ythey are loading some new seats.

If you're in the city and close to MSG, keep an eye on Stubhub around puck drop, you can sometimes score some bargains right at the end(there were several singles under $100 for great seats for game 6 of the last round) as people try to offload whatever didn't sell so you don't end up with zero. Sales go until :30 after scheduled puck drop so you'll miss some of the first, but if you're trying to go for cheap it might be a good option. Print out your tix at the stubhub office on 40th between 6th and 7th or at fedex at 37th and 7th.

The biggest joke was in round 2 two years ago, reps were GIVING AWAY free tickets they couldn't sell outside the garden. How times have changed

Selling Tickets

Coming off the high from our Game 7 victory, combined with the Adrenaline rush of battling for tickets on Ticketmaster, I made a little bit of a mistake and bought tickets that i really had no business spending money on.

I bought single tickets for MSG, Home Games 2 & 3, (series Game 4 & 6).

The ticket for Home Game 2 (series game 4) is Row 14 of Section 107

The ticket for Home Game 3 (series Game 6) is Row 1 of section 106.

What do you guys think are the odds of me re-selling? Is anyone interested in buying?
