Although there have been times where several different players have come up big this year, I believe the emergence of Ryan Johansen has been what got us over the top this year. He has been huge all year long in many aspects of the game not just scoring.

I just think people give Bob too much credit for carrying this team. Bob has been solid this year but he hasn't been near the goalie he was last year.

I would have offered the same 3 choices as the OP.

I also came to the same conclusion: Johansen MVP.....and it's not even close.

32 goals with RJU bringing his line down.....the kid has 40 goals, PPG and future all star written all over him. Not bad progress in a year:)

It was a tough choice between 19 and 72. I went with 72 because he still saves our bacon more time than not, even if he isn't all world like he was last year. I think he has been great post olympics.

I went with Ryan Johansen. Without him this team would be nowhere near the playoffs. The same case could be made for Bob, but I like Johansen more by a little.

That was a tough one. Good idea for a poll. You should add Wiz to the options.

I agree Wiz's name should be part of the poll if for no other reason than to remind us of his contributions while he's getting sat, demoted or traded during tonight's GDT. The guy had 50 pts as a d-man, that's pretty damn good.

BTW, I chose RyJo. Really good year for the young man but I'm not completely sold on him yet.

Johansen has been a beast this season, so obviously it's unanimous.
Bob is definitely #2. Overall though, everyone who has put on a CBJ sweater deserves at least a little credit, especially during the time Bob was injured. If not for the effort of so many players this season, the Jackets wouldn't be where they are. It's been awesome to see how everyone has contributed every way possible this season.

All 3 were very integral. Bobs provided great goaltending for us when we needed it and was solid all around (barring October/November). Dubi was a great all around player and arguably embodies what CBJ wants to be; a tough, hard working opponent that doesn't quit and grinds out the opposition.

That being said, RyJo was insane this year. I highly doubt any of us here seriously believed he would get 30+ goals this year. I mean, this was the same kid that a lot of us were blasting just about a year ago. It's also the same kid who was scratched (I believe) in the AHL playoffs after being sent down from the NHL at seasons end. And yet, it's nearly unanimous that RyJo should be the CBJ MVP.

All 3 will definitely be big pieces for us in the future, especially RyJo if he continues to improve.

Johansen, with a slight nod towards Dubinsky, who is the heart and soul of the team ... I really feel like the team ebbs and flows with Brandon's play; even though his numbers aren't up there with Johansen, he's a huge part of the team and deserves a ton of credit.

But, Johansen has become something we've never had before - a legitimate top line center.

I voted before looking at the results and nailed it... Joey!!!

Joey is the best thing I've seen in CBJ land since Tugnutt... he blows the doors off Rick Nash because he earned it, not entitled..

Johansen, but we'll need to Bob to be in the post season.

Ryan's just been spectacular. Agree on the Wiz addition, and that a lot of these guys deserve mention. Good poll

Johansen was our best player, but I voted for Bobrovsky. We don't make the playoffs without him playing well.

Gotta be Johansen. With all the clutch plays he's made this season, he is a huge reason we are here. Also agree with Wiz needing to be on here, possibly Anisimov as well. He has had a huge impact this season.

Johansen and it's not even close. Clutch and consistent despite Richards' best efforts on throwing whoever's name comes out of the hat.

Johansen with Bob 2nd. In reality it has been a great team effort.

Although not in the same league as Johansen and Bob honorable mention goes to Jenner and Anisimov for having breakout years.
