Who do you think the players on each team plays like from the NHL? I'm expecting to hear more from Canada and I want to hear the Elite Nations players i.e Sweden, Russia, U.SA even Finland. No disrespect to the other nations, the Slovaks and Czechs might have a few but you can't seriously compare Austria's player to any NHL player. Would love to hear about them anyways so I can watch them in the tournament.:)

Well there are similarities between Hall and Crosby, Hall brings more tenacity to the game and is more physcial. Almost like a Brad Richards type of player who like Hall can play both center and wing. With all due respect I don't think SDR's offensive potential is anything close to a Corey Perry.

Some of those were more of a response to other comparisons on here. Such as Sami Vatanen comparable to Drew Doughty?

Della Rovere screams "first seasons of Steve Begin with the Habs with more dirtyness", if you're asking me.

And Steve Begin went to the WJC, so it's not like it's a totally off-base comparison.

Seriously?

Perry is 6'3" 209, Tedenby is a generous 5'10" 176.

They probably couldn't be further apart. Tedenby is a St. Louis-type guy.

Maybe you didn't mean to write Perry for Tedenby?

Oiler fans may be able to back me up on this but Tedenby sure plays a lot like Petr Klima. Amazing speed and stick handling, lets hope he isn't as inconsistent.

Kugryshev seems to like to pattern his game after Semin, and I can see it a little bit (he's not the same talent level of course).

Orlov's reminded me of Timonen when I've seen him play, stylistically (we should be so lucky if he ever approaches that level of talent, of course) but then it's tough to say what type of game he'll be able to play against different levels of competition.

In terms of his style of play, a few posters, including Sens GM Bryan Murray, have described Sens prospect Jakob Silfverberg as an Alfredsson type player...
