Well I was on the way home listening to it on the radio and I heard I think Toews and the I remember Perry scored I come home things are going good and then the US get these two goals and when it goes to OT Crosby scores the winning goal.

Go Canada Go!!

At home hosting a party...

Then to Yonge St. where there were pickup hockey games and just a general air of pride and happiness...

Memorable day for sure...

At home.

Rooted for USA of course. Had a lot of fun watching it. Great game. Would have loved gold but if we were to lose of course it had to be Crosby in OT. Great game to watch live though.

Watching with my family and friends.

I was pissed that the U.S. got Canada. I remember a lot of naive Americans who wanted to face Canada for the gold and I just kept thinking about how awful it would be. And it was.

on the ferry from victoria to vancouver . the captain even stopped the ship before we docked to let the hundreds of people watch the game.

Tennis Practice, Lol

But I managed to catch Parise's goal at the end of regulation. I think I was in the car home when Crosby scored, so I missed that one.

At my friend's house, sitting right in front of the TV, I was 13 years old at the time (haha yes I know, I'm young lol).
It was awesome nonetheless :yo:

GO CANADA GO!!!!

At my aunt and uncles house. Me and my cousin were watching the game, and my uncle had fallen asleep on the couch. When Parise scored me and my cousin freaked out and started screaming our heads off. My uncle reacted a couple seconds later, coming out of his slumber and standing up and cheering with us.

Then he asked what the hell had just happened.

Cant really remember actually.. I just remember I was thinking.. hopefully it's not Crosby who's scoring the winning goal.. because he would get so much undeserved credit if he did. And obviously he did score the goal

Oh memories...
I was in a crappy hostel in Amsterdam. We paid the extra 6 euros to have a tv in our room. I remember trying to keep myself awake listening to the Dutch commentators lose their minds over speed skating till about 2am. Then the game came on and they switched over to British broadcasters. I must've been the only person in our hostel that was awake when Crosby scored. I had an all nighter in Amsterdam but didnt exactly do it the routine way I guess haha

Can't remember? Your probably mistaking Hockey for IKEA furniture making! :shakehead

I was fortunate enough to attend sitting centre ice with package 'A' tickets I won in the ticket lottery.

I was at Costco, and walked by the TV section just in time to see Sid score the goal...and promptly argue with my wife that Iggy didn't score it.

she loves Iggy.

At home watched from tv hoping better USA team to win and cursed Crosby for the winner:yo:

I was sitting by myself in my Residence Room glued to my crappy TV because all my friends were gone to their hometowns and I didn't really care for hockey that much at the time. I started the Olympics with mild indifference, only watching the games cause I was always with groups of people who forced me to watch. By the semi-finals though, I was a whole new beast. That's where hockey started for me, haha.

Basement watching with family. Went from incredibly nervous and deflated after Parise scored to screaming and elation when the puck slid through Ryan Miller's five hole.

Crying myself to sleep

:)

I didn't watch the 2002 Gold Medal game - didn't have the courage. Taped it.

Win or lose, I was going to watch 2010...

Watched it with my family. We spent the 3rd period saying, "If they keep playing not to lose, they will".
The best part of the win was enjoying it with my family.

Half in the bag! That's where I was, with my buddies!

Same with 2004, 2002, 1998, 1996, 1991, & 1987

I was too young to remember 1984, 1981, 1976, WHA 1974 & 1972 Summit Series
