Rangers are outscored 110-21 over that span.

Brian Boyle falls down and can't get up.
 
If the goal to make the playoffs is 54 points, the Rangers need to win at least 12 of the 20. The key is to get to overtime if we're going to lose. But 12 wins/24 points is definitely do-able.
 
13-7. The Rangers will do some major damage in the East during the playoffs but I think they will fall a little short and not bring it home this year.
I don,t think any of the top seeds want to play the Rangers in the first round especially if Lundqvist gets hot and Staal comes back

Pittsburgh is hoping the Rangers get the 8th seed.

4 game sweep and some rest before they have to face a tough opponent.

Something we see multiple times every game :D (ok, he does get up again, but only in order to prepare for the next fall, hehe).

As for the remainder of the season, i've not looked at the schedule, but going 0.500 (10 - 10) is an absolute must i think, if they are to have any ambitions of getting into the playoffs.

Will probably have to do better than 0.5... and unless someone lights a gigantic bonfire under the collective behinds of the team, or they "magically change their ways", i am not sure i see that happening.

ah well, we'll see :)

I know it was a year ago but the Penguins played great during the second half of the season and many picked them to roll over everyone in the East and they played liked dogs in the playoffs. I can,t see them wanting to play the Rangers in the first round.

You would think a guy that size would put it in his head im going to not let anyone knock the puck of me and work on my balance, unfortunately its not the case when i watch, he i a really weak link on the boards for his size especially. Hes not old he has to learn still.

You do realize there's a great chance that our first round match would be either the Habs (can't beat them in MTL) or the Penguins (just plain can't beat them) right?

6th seed would be ideal. Would love to play the winner of the SE division, ala the Devils last season. What a joke the Panthers were for them in the 1st round.

Right, if we can't win the division (Pittsburgh looks uncatchable), let's try to avoid Boston or Montreal in the first round (I really don't think they're very good, we just can't beat them on the road)
