I’ve been able to concentrate on the game a lot more tonight and one thing that is very evident to me is that the Islanders are a slow team. Yes Brazil can skate like the wind but too many of their players really labor up and down the ice. At this point of the season, that should be a big concern.

What the f*** am I even watching? I’ve literally never experienced this before while following this team.

That shot he got of low from the right side is extremely hard. Messier scored quite many on them. It’s hard for the goalie because with the shooter moving N-S the goalie must move too and then when he has weight on his skates he is vulnerable for those lower shots. I practiced on that shot a lot my self. It takes some kind of different strength that I didn’t even remotely have.

easy play was the bench KAM and keep your 50 point PP QB out there. takes a guy not coaching for wins to do that. its a credit to the org as a whole.

Came here to say the same thing. He looks terrible.

And Howden looks okay and is working hard but I just can’t get over him on the PP. He he maybe the worst skill of any forward on the roster. All he does is flub passes and lose the puck when stick handling. He’s a 3c at best, could be an elite 4th line and pk guy. But man he is really miscast by Quinn as a PP guy.

He's also a pro at shooting the puck directly into the logo of the goalie.
