It's also a just in case, I would guess. If mantiplalo is injured, they don't want hamonic coming in ice cold, right?
 
guys if we come across any tips or insider links to get playoff tickets before sens make it official communicate that through DMs with each other here to avoid leaf fans getting access

I may be in the minority, but am definitely nervous to face the leafs given that we have lost to them 4 straight times in the past.

I doesn’t mean anything to the players now maybe (though they will hear about it and use it for motivation from Green for sure), and it likely doesn’t mean anything to younger Sens fans.

But I’d be lying if I pretended that getting a win against the leafs wouldn’t be a huge redemption arc for me having watched all of those crushing losses, with us never doing what was needed to get past them.

It’s bigger than just this series for me, and that means I am open to bigger disappointment along with bigger elation.

To be fair I live in the area and support the team by attending games each year and not just when my team is in town.
 
No doubt Green will start Hamonic first playoffs game. Me , I would start Gilbert. Really like his game

Messes up our 3rd line, but at least our 4th line can do some damage. Or maybe swap Cousins and Zetterlund.

Other than Hodgson that is clearly a 4th liner, the others can all be mixed up depending on how thing goes. If the boys are all healthy, it will be the deepest lineup we had all year. Read a few post here about Hamonic playing in the first game, please go no, that would be very dumb ! Very nice to read through this thread, the HFSens crew is excited for the playoffs ... now let's go make those Leafs falls, it is spring time after all ! GO SENS GO !!!

I expect to see Hamonic game 1, out of respect and so we don't have 2 rookies on the bottom pair. Maybe the time off has helped and he won't make as many mistakes playing 15min a night.

What dirty play has Brady even done? Rielly’s crosscheck to Greig’s face is far more egregious than anything’s I’ve seen Brady do.

What is it with the major Canadian markets (Toronto and Montreal) turning every series into a fake morality competition?

Are we going to go back to this “classless” shit again with the media?

Screw respect, play the guys that gives you the best chance to win every night. The time off clearly didn't helped him against the Flyers, he pretty much scored for them ensuring Forsberg gets no chance to stop it, he is and has been a liability for a long time now. I go with Matinpalo and don't think twice even with the little struggles he had recently. Kleven seems so much more confident with Matinpalo than Hamonic (well like everyone else would).

I don't like him but still expect him to play, especially on the road.

I agree it's quite possible he plays because Green seems to love him and Highmore, which I don't get at all ... but why on the road would be a good idea ? Isn't it worst if they can match up whoever they want against him ?

Isn't it Ironic, the Maple Leafs (the team) always fall in the spring time and as we all know the leaves from the maple tree fall in autumn.

Because Kleven and Matinpalo have been getting lit up recently and they will probably want a guy that could play with Chabot for a few shits, if we need to split up the bottom pair.

You think Kleven-Hamonic has been better this year ? To me the worst stretch of the Kleven-Matinpalo is better than anything with Hammo ... please don't do that to Chabby 😅
