I can't be the only one not surprised by the outcome at all? It's become predictable that this team will just disappoint us in someway. When the Lightning entered the zone in the last 30 seconds, I knew they were going to tie it up.

Obviously. I'm not expecting sugar coating. But we all know what this team is capable of. We all know that they aren't trash, garbage, pathetic. People should just stop. Complain. But don't insult them the way they do.

It's a message board. People are allowed to call the team whatever they want to. If you don't like it, ignore it. There have been times where I've come in here after a loss and just shook my head at some of the things being posted. But I've also posted things after losses, or during games, that I look back on and wonder what the hell I was thinking.

Besides, if we didn't vent we'd probably all go insane. Most of us are halfway there already.

this is one game where the devils deserve the venom. blow a 2 goal lead not once but twice, and then proceed to not take any shots in the shootout.

That is the key. They just sat back and expected it to turn out fine for the final 5 minutes or whatever happened. If you are going to dream about that then you need to have the correct personnel out there. Gionta is not and I dunno bout henrique in that spot either, and I love henrique.

whats also ridiculous is the negativity that comes after a game like this. im not saying it was their best game at all, but you cant honestly say the bolts outplayed them can you? they got lucky, sure the devs helped them at times, but again... it happens.

I echo this sentiment.

Some of the posters here can hardly call themselves fans anymore. There's a difference between being an objective fan and being a "fan" who bashes your "favorite" team at every possible opportunity. Ya know, there's actually this thing criteria about being a fan that you actually enjoy rooting for your team..

If this team gets you that angry, stop watching and tune back in next year. Seriously, it's not worth your anger and well, alot of you already think we aren't making the playoffs so what's the point? Just check back in around draft-time.
